UDMURT REPUBLICAN MUSEUM OF FINE ARTS, IZHEVSK, RUSSIA

The Udmurt Republican Museum of Fine Arts was opened on October 29, 1980.
The collection of the museum today totals 12,797 items — it is the only art collection of such level in Udmurtia. The basis of the collection is 565 works — ‘small’ masterpieces of Russian and West European art. A small collection of works of «old» masters, which got into the republic in 1928 from the State Museum Fund, is the main body of the permanent exposition of the museum.
