MUSEUM OF WESTERN AND EASTERN ART, ODESSA, UKRAINA

Odessa Museum of Western and Eastern Art is one of the largest museums in Ukraine by the artistic and historical value of the collection. The museum was founded in 1924 and is located in a building that is an architectural monument of national importance. The museum’s collection is renowned for its branch of Western European art. The pearls are works of such painters as Pierre Mignard, Thomas Lawrence, Gustav Edelfelt, Juan Carreno de Miranda, Francesco Guardi, Johann Baptist Lampi senior, Jan van Goyen, Giovanni Francesco Barbieri (Guercino), Alessandro Magnasco and Frans Hals.
